The BAND
Artie Tobia and Redtail Revival
In the heart of the American landscape, where the open road stretches out beneath a wide, endless sky, a lone red-tailed hawk soars high above—a symbol of freedom, resilience, and the untamed spirit of the wild. Redtail Revival was born from this spirit, channeling the raw, unfiltered energy of the American experience. The red-tailed hawk embodies the band’s deep connection to the rich traditions of Roots Rock Americana music, a genre that, like the hawk, is both grounded and soaring.
"Revival" speaks to the band's mission of breathing new life into timeless stories—stories that are both deeply personal and universally resonant—reawakening the echoes of the past with a fresh, lyric-driven perspective.
At the helm is Artie Tobia with 5 albums and some charting success, he is a seasoned roots rock Americana artist whose voice is as rich and resonant as the tales he tells. Artie's music weaves together the threads of blues, rock, folk, and country, reflecting his own journey and the enduring spirit of the American landscape.
With Artie leading the charge, Redtail Revival is more than just a band; it’s a revival of the heart and soul of Americana, capturing the essence of the open road and the stories that define our lives, all through the power of music that’s as timeless as the land it was born from. Here's where to place your bio. The first paragraph should have your name, where you're from, a description of your music, and what's currently going on in your career. Artie Tobia
Singer / Songwriter
With a catalog of over 100 original songs, my music blends rock, country, folk, and blues into a heartfelt, dynamic experience. These elements come alive not only on my albums but also on stage, where every performance is crafted to resonate with you.
If you want to know who I am, listen to my lyrics. I’m there, hiding in plain sight. Through the characters and stories I write, you may find pieces of me—truths and lies intertwined, autobiography blended with pure imagination. But at its core, my music isn’t just about me—it’s about you.
Each song is an offering, an invitation to connect. Maybe it’s a line that hits home, a name that stirs a memory, or a place that takes you back in time. Songs are meant to spark a dialogue between the writer and the listener, carrying us both to moments that matter—those first, unforgettable times we hear them.
My goal is to serve your emotions, to inspire and move you. I want my words to nestle into your heart, to stir memories, and to leave you with something meaningful. The stories I tell are only complete when they become part of your story too.
Let’s take this journey together. Through my songs, I hope to serve not just your ears but your soul.
I invite you to discover the stories, the truths, and the mysteries. Maybe finding a piece of yourself along the way.
Mark Barden
Guitar, Vocals
Mark has been playing throughout the years with Artie since they were teenagers. He went on to spend time in Florida and Nashville before returning to NY where they did two simultaneous weekly residencies in NYC and Greenwich CT for 15 years, along with countless other shows.
Today Mark is co-founder and CEO of the Sandy Hook Promise Action Fund (SHPAF) and co-founder of Artist For Action. Since the tragic murder of his son, Daniel, during the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012, Mark has dedicated himself to sparing other families the pain of losing children to gun violence.
Mark believes that thoughtful, sincere dialogue centered on protecting youth will lead us to shared common ground and nonpartisan solutions everyone can agree with. These include expanded background checks, secure storage of firearms, extreme risk protection laws, and other measures that are proven to prevent gun violence.
An accomplished professional musician with a BA in music and formal training in jazz and composition, Mark recently built a strong non-political coalition of international artists (including Billie Eilish, Peter Gabriel, Sheryl Crow, Nile Rodgers and more) to support the Artist For Action initiative in preventing gun violence and keeping our communities safe. The coalition has turned into a concert series that features both legendary and breakthrough talent who are passionate about the cause.
Mark Bridgeman
Bass, Vocals
Music has always loomed large in the life of Mark Bridgman. From the time his young mother brought him to a little festival in upstate NY called Woodstock. To when he was thirteen and he pulled a cheap knockoff bass guitar out of a trash bin and found himself in a band the very next day. Making music has been the main motivating factor in his life.
Fast forward a few decades, a few thousand shows, a lot of perseverance, hard work and woodshedding (and thankfully some better gear along the way) and now Mark is considered by many to be among one of the most sought after bassists in the tristate NY area. With a sound, style and attitude all his own, Mark’s number one aim while performing on stage is to serve the song, support the artist and most importantly drive the groove.
Stuart Stahr
Drums

Whether driving a high-energy rock set or adding subtle texture to an acoustic performance, he consistently elevates the music around him.
